Abstract
The hypothesis about the ascending dynamics of the psychological defense mechanisms and personality's coping strategies certifying the progressive vector of vocational and personal development has been tested on the basis of the theoretical presentation of personality's axiogenesis as a growth of personality's subjective abilities, complication and generalization of his/her value orientations in the main types of vital activity.
Coping and defensive patterns of personality's behaviour in the context of his/her vocational axiogenesis separated in the comparative psychodiagnostic research enable to explicate the following sequence (stages) of subjective mechanisms transformation: 1) disparate psychological defense mechanisms as a subconscious reaction to a dangerous situationally specific signal for self-attitude; 2) defensive patterns integrated by the purpose of the main activity preserving personality's self-esteem and positive self-image in relevant areas of vital activity; 3) mixed coping and defensive patterns symbolizing the transition state of defensive mechanisms to appropriate coping strategies by virtue of the fact of their awareness and purposeful direction; 4) proper coping strategies of behaviour in difficult situations that bother while encouraging person's self-actualization; 5) flexible causally and teleologically determined personality's behaviour in different conditions of his/her life-implementation (synthetic style of coping).

Radchuk H. CULTURAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACH AS A METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATION OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT IN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Radchuk H., head of the department of practical psychology of Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Psychology, Professor.

Abstract

The article deals with a cultural-psychological approach and its direction towards holistic personal development as a methodological foundation for educational transformations. It is emphasized, that education is dominated by an inclination towards social experience, rather than culture. Social experience is embedded into educational process and is, in its transformed state, presented in the content of education. Based on the theoretical analysis of cultural-psychological approach in the context of personality development in educational environment, the author concluded that human cultural being is a system forming component of their holistic life activities. Education is a complicated cultural process which is driven by personal meanings, dialogue and collaboration of its actors to achieve their cultural self-development goals. It is concluded that education is a dynamic cultural environment where one can find life meanings and universalize values. Education is aimed at creation of opportunities for realization of one’s subjectivity. Based on the described ideas of cultural approach in psychology and pedagogy the main principles for personality development in educational context were identified: 1) a person is a subject of culture, life creation and individual development; 2) education is a dynamic environment where one can find life meanings and universalize values; 3) education plays an important role in creating opportunities for realization of one’s subjectivity and motivation for personal growth and cultural development.

Keywords:  cultural-psychological approach;  culture;  education;  meaning.

This study was carried out with the author's questionnaire. The obtained results are analyzed in a comparative perspective (high school students inclusive and of the model school), respectively, to four blocks of content: the experience of interaction with people with special needs; awareness of the professions that accompany the development of children with features of psychophysical development; the emotional attitude to work with children with developmental disorders; motivation to professional activity, which is associated with working with children with peculiarities of development. Revealed that the students of both types of schools notice a number of children with developmental disorders, but experience with them is dominated by students with inclusive schools. High school students found no sufficient awareness about the specific professions that accompany children with features of psychophysical development. The pupils of the model schools was emphasized more than the medical aspect, and high school students inclusive school teaching. The profession of a psychologist, speech therapist, defectologist and a social pedagogue in a certain measure of interest to prospective students. PSYCHOLOGICAL FREEDOM

Donets A.,VІ Course, Department of Applied Psychology, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University

Abstract
The article deals with the psychological aspect of the phenomenon of freedom. Human freedom implies that main goal of lifeis the development of the individuality and personal self-fulfilment.It was carried out the theoretical analysis of the psychological approaches to the discovery of the essence of psychological phenomenon of freedom in foreign and native sources. Many authors have defined their own concept of freedom and focused their attention on various aspects. We have identified a subjective (internal) freedom and an objective (external) freedom.Subject of primarily psychological study of inner freedom rights – «freedom for» is most revealed in terms of autonomy and self, which stands opposite psychological lack of freedom – «freedom from», which is the basis of formation fears and pushed content.Freedom appears invarious psychological approaches through its representations such: 1) position;2) dynamic state; 3) self-determination; 4) ability to be alive; 5) ability to self-transcendence;  6) ability to be the subject of action;7) perceived self-efficacy; 8) global anthropological characteristic of man; 9) free causality; 10) psychological (personal) sovereignty. We have also proposed the theoretical model of psychological freedom of personality, which includes:1) cognitive component; 2) emotional component; 3) the motivational component;4) behavioral component. We have assumedthat these components are closely interrelated. Therefore, freedom is the possibility and capacity toreflection and self-reflection; experience a sense of freedom or unfreedom; make choices; act actively and responsibly.Existential and humanistic psychology consider freedom as an important condition for the functioning of the individual, part of mental health.

 Kochubeynyk O. CONFINED SPACES:
SYMPTOMS OF NON-DIALOGIUNESS
DISCOURSE

Kochubeynyk O., Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Senior Research Officer, Head of the Laboratory of Psychology communicate Institute of Social and Political Psychology of NAPS Ukraine

Abstract

The article proves the need for social and psychological support of various procedures for the effective construction of social dialogue. It is argued it is a tool for achieving a conflict-free coexistence of different groups and mechanism for resolving «problem areas» in the space of their life together. The author believes that modern society consists of different discourse community. A discourse community is a group of people who share a set of discourses, understood as basic values and assumptions, and ways of communicating about those goals. Each discourse community has its own unwritten rules about what can be said and how it can be said. Most people move within and between different discourse communities every day. The author notes social dialogue is one of constructive responses to the challenges of modernity that arise due to increasing cultural diversity. Further, the author analyzes in detail the obstacles that arise as a result of the radicalization of discourse (its non-dialogueness). The article pointed out that the common denominator of all forms of non-dialogic discourse is the need to protect the «correct» picture of the world. This leads to substantial reconstruction of the main parameters of meaning and sense reproduction that construct this picture. The author also claims that the isolated symptoms should be seen as different manifestations of this protection.
As a conclusion, the author emphasizes that the main source of difficulties in social dialogue (which is contrary to the idea of cooperation) is agonistic discourse. She argues that social dialogue as communicative practice which carried out among communities of modern society is rather ambiguous. On the one hand, it should enrich the sociality, making different discourses through its various articulations, while helping relieve contradiction «friend or foe» (cooperation). On the other hand, it tends (due to agonality of discourse) to sharp expansion, resulting in absorption other ones.

PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE

Lishchynska О., Doctor of Psychology, Associate Professor, Head of the Institute of Psychology Training State Employment Service of Ukraine

Abstract
In the article the author's concept of social psychological dependence, which is an attempt to answer the question of limits and conditions of constructive and destructive social interaction. The article advocates the idea that social dependence and interdependence of the individual is a social norm. Cultic psychical dependence – it is the complex, multidimensional destructive (self-destructive) phenomenon of psyche turning out at a cognitive, affect and behavior level as breaking of critical thinking, addictive reactions, break of social adaptation whilst keeping the feeling of subjective wellbeing. The origin of cultic psychical dependence of person is the derivative factor from a plenty of other ones and their combination. In our opinion, it is the indicator of social and cultural problems of psycho-social space on the whole, as an abyss between the level of development of human spiritual and social-psychological needs, from one side, and possibility of their safe satisfaction, from the other one, deepens lately. At the given investigation stage of the problem we came to a conclusion that for prevention and overcoming of total mental dependence phenomena it is necessary to make some changes to the family education and school training system. The formation of information tolerance of adolescents and youth on the interpersonal level will take here the central place. According to the data of our research the preconditions of such feature formation are cultural identity, social maturity, self-confidence, free will capacity. On the national level it is important to initiate the process of social policy transformation aimed at the reduction of a fraction of weed and virus information in information space of Ukraine. However, there are conditions to transform the structural dependency destructive, such as psychological violence. Reaching maturity of personality is the key to constructive social interaction.

For a complex research of value orientations of liquidators of the Chernobyl accident in the remote period after the accident, we have used the following psychodiagnostical tools : test «Value orientations» by M.Rokycha; Valuable questionnaire by S.Schwartz; «Morphological test of value orientations» by V.Sopova and L.Karpushin. Our empirical study consisted of two phases: Phase I – identifying features of the system of value orientations of the Chernobyl accident's liquidators (by identifying statistically significant difference between results of main and control groups). Phase II – the definition of specific components of values of the Chernobyl accident's liquidators (by using factor analysis). After using the factor analysis method was identified four specific system components of value orientations of liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, namely value orientations, aimed at achieving peace and security, value orientations, aimed at achieving the effective and professional daily activities, value orientations aimed at achieving high level of self-development. Results of empirical studies show that the Chernobyl disaster significantly transformed the system of value orientations of liquidators.

Key words:
